06 Feb Workout Attire
Doesn’t the saying go, “when you look good, you feel good”? Or in this case, when you look good, you have a better workout. Believe it or not, I really do see a change in my workout when I wear cute workout pants/shorts. It gives me an extra boost of confidence and makes me want to do an extra rep or two.
When I initially began working out I didn’t have a lot of workout clothes in my wardrobe. I only had two pair of black pants and a variety of soffe shorts that I would wear with a big t-shirt. I’ll be honest, I was okay with what I had on but I didn’t feel cute nor did I have a lot of confidence while working out. (You would think it doesn’t matter when you’re going to sweat in them anyway, right?) I refused to spend a lot of money on workout pants because the majority of them were plain and essentially, they all looked the same.
I am gracious enough to have a personal seamstress who is also my mama. I convinced her to help boost my workout wardrobe by choosing fabrics that are bright in color to compliment my personality. I absolutely love every pair she makes(Want a pair? Let me know). Whenever I go to workout, I know I’m supposed to be there to sweat, burn calories, and build muscles, but I go there to turn heads as well. Just because I’m working out doesn’t mean I can’t be the center of attention there 😉
So let’s talk: What do you generally workout in? Do you think that your gym attire influences how you workout?
All of my workout pants/shorts are made by my mother. If interested in a pair, shoot me an email.
